Young Hearts
A 14-year-old boy discovers that he feels infatuated with his new neighbour, Alexander, who enters his life and awakens feelings he never knew existed. This first amorous elation quickly becomes something deeper and more intense for him. However, conversations with his friends and family bring more questions than answers.
‘Young Hearts’ impresses with a freshness, emotional depth and precision that one can hardly expect from such a young filmmaker. The main character guides us through all the ups and downs of the story with extraordinary sensitivity, allowing the audience to almost step into his skin. Gentle and emotional, the film heralds the beginning of a promising career – and gives us hope that this is only the first of many moving works to come!
