Blue Lights (Luces azules)
Alejandro’s 70th birthday party was supposed to be a celebration of life, but instead of toasts to the future, tension is in the air and secrets are coming to light faster than another glass of wine. Among his circle of friends – older and younger, gay and lesbian, couples and singles – a game of emotions begins, where love, loyalty and longing collide with brutal honesty.
In a world where social norms can’t keep up with reality, this night will change everything – but isn’t that what parties are for?
‘Blue Lights’ is a brilliant, humorous yet moving story about friendship, loneliness and how much we need each other, even though we sometimes find it hard to admit it.
