Blue for a Boy (Azul de Niño)

As Natalia discovers that her husband is cheating on her, on top of that with a young sex worker, her world falls apart. She decides to confront her husband’s lover – but this is interrupted by the news that her husband has had a stroke and has been admitted to hospital. In the sterile corridors of intensive care, she has to confront not only his uncertain fate, but also the boyfriend who loves him on his own terms.

‘Blue for a Boy’ is a tragicomedy in pure Almodovar style that shows that human nature is always stronger than the façade we build.
