Chrissy Judy
We know it so well: every one of us has a friend who doesn’t know how to sort out their life. We love this person, despite the mess they leave behind. For 30-something drag queen Chrissy, her best friend Judy, a chaotic dragsie who likes to drink, is just like that. After years on the queer scene of New York, Judy is convinced that her and Chrissy’s show will finally be a great success – but Chrissy’s priorities are way less flamboyant this time. This makes disappointed Judy rethink her life as a drag queen and finally, rediscover herself.
This dark (black and white, in fact) comedy lets us catch a glimpse of the queer underground. We’ll see the struggles of gay and non-heterosexual men in the chase for love, acceptance and identity. What to do when your chosen family seems to push you away?
