A Human Position
Among the breathtaking Norwegian landscapes, in a small town on the west coast of this Scandinavian country, a tender, bittersweet story of two young women, Asta and Live takes its place. There’s also a journalistic investigation of the fate of an asylum seeker from abroad, in which Asta gets involved, some repaired chairs and a cat in the background. But the most important here are feelings between the two and Asta’s depression that casts a shadow on the life they’re sharing.
“A Human Position” is a film that raises nowadays problems and asks a lot of questions, also regarding the relationship between two main characters at the same time. Slowly-paced, even dreamy in its form, “A Human Position” intrigues with striking details and stays in mind for a long time after the screening.
