Ma Belle, My Beauty

Lane, Bertie and Fred once shared a polyamorous relationship. Everything was going just fine, as long as Lane didn’t suddenly vanished from their lives… Two years later Bertie and Fred have gotten married, they live in his family home in a French countryside. When Lane unexpectedly shows up there, she does not recognize his former lover, who is mourning after her mother’s death and feels lonely in a “white” European city. She tries to reconstruct their former carefree reality, but there might be some things they can’t go back to…
A film, nuanced portrait of women, who bravely create their own rules in life, where there is no other role for them as the leading one.
