Jump, Darling

After a breakup with his partner who does not support him as a drag queen, Russell moves out and goes to live in the countryside with his grandmother. He notices that her health is declining, but she tells him she doesn’t want to be placed in a nursing home.

“Jump, Darling” is one of the last films with Cloris Leachman – the Oscar winner in The Best Supporting Actress category for “The Last Picture Show” (1971).

The film won CAFTCAD (The Canadian Alliance for Film and Television Costume Arts and Design) award in The Best Costumes in an Independent Movie category and The Young Lovers Award during the Lovers Film Festival in Turin. It was also nominated in The First Feature category during the Frameline Festival.
